The 28 Day Kickstart
Whether you've never trained before or you've done years somewhere else, this is how you start at CrossFit Bletchley: two hours of one-to-one coaching, then four weeks of classes with a coach checking in.
- A dedicated coach from day one
- 2 hours of one-to-one coaching
- Unlimited classes for four weeks
- Nutrition support and weekly check-ins
- No joining fee and no contract afterwards
- Money back if you follow the plan and don't see progress
01 Why we start this way
Why everyone starts with the Kickstart
Dropping into a class on your first day doesn't tell you much. Nobody has taught you the movements yet, so you spend the hour unsure what you're doing and leave sore.
With the Kickstart, your coach meets you first, one-to-one, and works out where you're starting from. Then you do four full weeks of classes with them checking in, so by the end you're judging the gym on what it's actually like.
It's also how we get to know you: your goals, any injuries, and which sessions fit your week.
02 The four weeks
How the four weeks work
Your coach will go through this with you at the intro session and write down your version of it.
- W13 sessions
Intro session and first classes
Two hours one-to-one, split across the week if that suits you better. You cover the squat, hinge, press and pull, find out what moves well and what needs work, and go into your first classes already knowing the basics.
- W23–4 sessions
Settle into a routine
You pick the class times that fit your week. Your coach checks in on how you're feeling, how you're recovering and anything that's unclear.
- W33–4 sessions
Add weight
The movements feel familiar, so the weights start to go up. This is also the week you talk through food with your coach: a few practical changes rather than a diet plan.
- W44 sessions
Retest and decide
You repeat what you did in week one to see the difference, then sit down with your coach to decide what's next. If you carry on, you choose a monthly membership. If not, that's fine too.
03 Who it's for
Who the Kickstart is for
If you've never trained
You'll be taught everything from the beginning, and you won't be the only beginner in the room. Most of our members started this way.
If you used to train
Injury, children, work, or a gym you drifted away from. We'll build back up carefully, and it usually comes back faster than people expect.
If you train somewhere else
You know the lifts and want coaching rather than just access to a gym. The intro session is where we pick up the things that haven't been corrected before.
04 Questions
Before you book
01I'm very unfit. Will I be able to keep up?
Yes. Every workout is scaled, so the person next to you might be doing a different version of the same session. The coach's job is to make it the right level for you.
02How many classes should I do a week?
Three is a good number during the Kickstart. Classes are unlimited, so you can do more once you've settled in.
03Can I start this week?
Usually. Send the form, we'll call to book your intro session, and you can be in a class within a few days.
04What do I need to bring?
Trainers you can squat in (flat soles are better than cushioned running shoes), water, and clothes you can move in. Everything else is provided.
05What happens at the end?
You choose. Memberships are monthly rolling from £80 with five days' notice to cancel, or you can stop there with nothing more to pay. See memberships →
